PGA Magazine was deeply involved in the PGA Merchandise Show, the golf industry’s premier trade show. As with Demo Day at the PGA Merchandise Show, over the years I was given greater responsibility regarding the execution of the company’s presence at the trade show. This included the company’s own trade-show booth and, in various years, other trade-show locations, including the PGA Magazine Travel Pavilion and the PGA Connectivity Lab.

Event: Demo Day at the PGA Merchandise Show
Location: Orange County National, Winter Garden, Florida
Dates: Recurring Annual Event (January 2006–2010)
When I worked at PGA Magazine the organization was very involved in the PGA Merchandise Show, an annual event held in late January in Orlando, Florida. Though the PGA Merchandise Show was produced by Reed Exhibitions, we partnered with Reed on several programs to maximize the show’s impact and interest to the target audience, golf professionals, by finding new ways to bring these golf professionals together with companies in the industry.

Dates: January 2011–August 2013
I worked with the creator and art director of The Infamous, Shaun Baron, to conceive and execute all of aspects of the magazine. All content was created by ourselves and by contributors, exclusive to The Infamous, and I coordinated gathering and preparing that content: text, photos, illustrations, videos – everything. After writing, re-writing, and proofing the final pages I worked with the printer and our distributors – and my local post office – to get The Infamous to its readers.
